Wearable Structure

Final Garment Project

Ideas starting to create a dress.

The front of the dress was made of just one piece of fabric, with no seams.

Using the first panels to make the paper pattern.

Using the pattern to cut the fabric.

Final adjustments.

My final garment finished.

Deconstruction Reconstruction

A Jacket into a Skirt

Here is my design using the technique Deconstruction Reconstruction. I bought a second hand Jacket, unpicked and created a new garment. Left together the must interesting pieces, like the collar and cuffs.

My sketchbook page with design development inspired by the skirt done using Deconstruction Reconstruction.
